Hell No! If you are running a bolt, lever, or any other gun with a closed bolt at fire, use a traditional suppressor, not a high flow through can.
Let’s face the fact. Flow through isn’t just letting gas flow through, it’s also letting sound flow right on through also.
If you are running a semi auto, the minute you pull the trigger, the breach is starting to move, allowing sound and gas out your ejection port. So if you are losing sound on the semi auto, what is wrong with the flow through suppressor?
Nothing! Flow through cans have their place and are great if you are shooting the old school DI rifles. They will save you from wasting a mouth full of obnoxious gas. You are losing sound, so might was well lose a little gas.
Another option is shoot a long stroke piston gun like one from Primary Weapon Systems, or buy a DI to Long stroke kit from us or also on www.GunsmithLive.com
