This is easy to decide!
This is an easy question, depending on your shooting style. As a general rule of thumb, if you are going on a bolt action rifle with low round counts and are concerned about weight, use a direct thread.
If your round count is high, and rapid fire, you should lean towards a quick lock style suppressor mount. The thermal expansion can be a headache to people without experience of the correct torque to install a direct thread on a gun that bounces of high thermal limits.
The only other factor for the quick lock style is the amount of times removing your suppressor. Barrels are soft, and excessive threading and unthreading wears on your barrel threads. Over extended time, this can wear on your threads. QD mounts are hardened and meant for the constant removal.
